MS boys' basketball loses two friendly games at ASIJ

CAJ's middle school boys' basketball A and B Teams both played friendly games at ASIJ on Saturday to wrap up their seasons. A Team lost 54-51 and B Team lost 43-17.

A Team was down by 13 points at halftime, but the Knights fought back quickly in the third quarter and even took a lead of up to about eight points with an energized start to the third quarter.

"We came out in the third quarter with a much more aggressive mindset, and we started to hit shots," coach Steve Hall said. "Then, all the aggression we played with in the third and early fourth quarters left as fatigued started to set in because we had exerted so much energy. We just weren't attacking the way we were earlier on when we were getting back into the game."

For the Knights, Noah led with 18 points and J had 13 points.

A Team's overall season record finished at 6-5, and B Team finished at 2-10.
