JV boys' basketball beats St. Maur 60-39

The JV boys' basketball team defeated St. Maur at home on Saturday morning by a score of 60-39. The Knights now have a 2-6 record in Kanto Plains play this season.

The team had Lorne Anderson assisting as a coach on Saturday in place of Charles Smoker, who was with his B Team at ASIJ.

Anderson reported the following about the Knights' performance:

"We played an outstanding game. There was great energy, effort and enthusiasm from the whole team. Our defensive mindset was outstanding in the second half. We held them scoreless for the majority of the third quarter and we were able to get some good steals off of some full-court defense.

This was one of the best games I have seen from these guys."

CAJ’s next game will at home next Tuesday against Kinnick.
