Girls' soccer completes second day of Far East Tournament

On Tuesday, the girls' soccer team again got one win and one loss on the second day of pool play. They lost to M.C. Perry 2-0 and then beat Daegu 2-0. Kaitlyn and Miyuki both scored against Daegu without assists.

The Knights were able to improve on coach Steve Hall's key point of consistency in both of their games on Tuesday. The team played well in both matches, but Hall was especially pleased with how the team stayed competitive with Perry, the top team in CAJ's pool.

"The concentration level was a lot better," Hall said. "They were much more aware of marking people and not giving people free runs. We were able to keep up that intensity for the entire game."

The Knights finished pool play with a 2-2 record and enter tournament play as the third seed in their pool. CAJ's first game on Day 3 is a quarterfinal match against Osan, which started at 9 a.m. on Wednesday.
