Boys' soccer beats YIS 4-1

CAJ's boys' soccer team avenged a 2-1 loss to YIS from last season with a resounding 4-1 victory in Yokohama on Friday.

Coach Keesh Kawaguchi was impressed most with how the Knights executed their game plan on defense to limit the top three players from YIS. He was also very satisfied with the overall effort level.

"They worked hard all week, and gave maximum effort in the game," Kawaguchi said. "I'm proud of the players and I'm really happy for them."

Angus continue to score well with two more goals, bringing his season total to eight in three games. Jacky contributed one goal and one assist, and Joshua (11th grade) added one goal as well.

CAJ's record is now two wins, no losses and one draw. The Knights' next game will be next Tuesday against Kinnick at CAJ. Both the girls' and boys' teams will play that night, starting at 5:30 (girls first, boys second).
