MS girls' basketball teams win a pair of games against NIS

The middle school girls' basketball teams played two games at home on Saturday against NIS. CAJ won against the Vikings' A Team 29-15 and won against their C Team by a score of 25-13.

The Knights have enough players for just two teams, so they had their more advanced players go against the Vikings' A Team and their less experienced players go against NIS' C Team. Coaches Steve and Tanya Hall said the team will continue to play just two games, even against opponents with more than two teams.

"The A Team played good defense throughout," said Steve Hall. "They struggled to score in the first half but used a full-court press to pull away in the fourth quarter."

Tanya Hall noted that "the C Team also did a good job on defense and showed a lot of improvement from last week."

For their next games, the Knights will visit ASIJ on Thursday afternoon.
