Varsity boys' basketball loses 68-56 to Yokota

While the girls were at CAJ playing Yokota, the boys went to Yokota for their games.

The varsity team stayed pretty close throughout most the game against the Panthers, but Yokota eventually pulled away late in the third quarter to win 68-56.

Both teams pressed each other for most of the game, creating a fast-paced contest. In the end, both teams got good looks close to the rim, but CAJ's inability to convert many of them was the main difference from last game, when it defeated Yokota 52-47.

"Tonight, we missed a lot of open layups and easy chances, so we left a lot of points on the table," Josh said. "We need to finish stronger and more confidently."

Enosh was the Knights' scoring leader with 13 points, and Josh had 10 points. Enosh has now scored at least 10 points in six straight games.

The varsity Knights now have a 2-7 league record. Their next games will be at the Far East Tournament in Okinawa, which will run all through next week.
