Varsity volleyball loses 3-0 against Seisen

The varsity volleyball team lost 3-0 (12-25, 14-25, 16-25) against Seisen at home on Friday night. The Knights' season record now stands at 3-2.

Against a strong team like Seisen, one of CAJ's points of emphasis throughout the three sets was to "cut down on errors that give them a chance, like sending free balls back to their side for them to attack," according to coach Steve Hall. Hall added that this was the case in the JV game, as well.

He also mentioned that CAJ needs to work on the placement of its attacks. Seisen's libero player had lots of nice recoveries on the Knights' attacks, but the Knights also made things easier on the Phoenix by hitting the ball to areas that were covered.

Overall, Hall said "both teams played pretty well" in reference to the JV and varsity teams for CAJ.

The Knights will play at home against BST on Saturday.
