Varsity volleyball stays undefeated with 3-1 victory over Yokota

The varsity volleyball team pushed its undefeated record to 3-0 on Thursday by defeating Yokota in four sets (16-25, 25-16, 25-23, 25-17).

Coach Tanya Hall expressed her thoughts on the game:

"We had a slow start yet again, but we were able to pull it together by the second set to win the next three [sets]. We had to try another new rotation last night due to one of the girls being absent, but this gave us a chance to see players in different roles, which is a good thing to practice so we're prepared for different situations that may arise over the season.

When our serves were in, we were able to pressure them and earn points. But when our serves were not in, that is when we found ourselves in tough situations, so we'll be working on that!"

CAJ plays next Tuesday at home against ASIJ. The JV will play at 5:30 p.m., followed by the varsity around 7 p.m.
