Cross country has seven runners compete at Yokota

The CAJ cross country team had seven runners represent the school at Yokota on Saturday for the DODEA PAC-East Championships. The Knights are not part of DODDS and did not officially score as a team, but they had many great individual performances.

Every single Knights runner secured a season best at the distance they raced on Saturday. The high school boys to complete the 5-kilometer course were Ken (18:41.9, 22nd out of 77 runners), Zion (20:57.0, 52nd) and Kyong (24:22.5, 76th). The high school girls had Natasha (23:22.9, 20th out of 44 runners), Anna (24:12.9, 26th) and Sara (24:53.3, 31st) finish with good times on the same course.

For middle school, GyungWon ran a time of 13:13.5 on the 2-mile course. This placed him 13th out of 47 runners. Full results from all the races at Yokota are available

The entire CAJ cross country team will compete next Saturday at the Kanto Plains League Finals at Tama Hills.
