"The JV guys did a really good job leading the day for the high schoolers and testing out the 5k course for the rest of the team," Rudd said.

Rudd also said that "the varsity guys ran wise races" as they mostly paced the course very well. "There are also some new runners who have surprised us with how impressively they've performed," Rudd said.

The Knights will run the upper 4.4-kilometer course at Tama Hills next Saturday.
