Varsity boys' basketball loses 67-65 to REIRS men's club

The varsity boys' basketball team played an exhibition game against the REIRS men's basketball club on Saturday. It was an extremely close game, but CAJ ended up losing 67-65.

According to coach Steve Hall, the Knights did a lot of scoring in the key. However, they struggled to shoot from the three-point line (1-of-17) and the free-throw line (4-of-10). CAJ's free-throw shooting issues were key at the end of the game, when the Knights missed the front end of a one-and-one free throw opportunity that could have tied the game and then given CAJ a one-point lead.

Kyle led the Knights with 18 points and Koji was close behind with 17. Enosh had 14 points and Lukas had 10 to help lead the scoring attack.

CAJ's first league game will be at home on Tuesday against ASIJ.
