HS boys' soccer defeats Zama 5-1

The high school boys' soccer team was able to attain its first win of the season in its second game on Thursday afternoon. The Knights beat Zama 5-1 on the road.

Here were coach Keesh Kawaguchi's thoughts on CAJ's victory:

"It was a team win in the true sense. We had three players play a specific role. They had a lot of responsibilities but executed beautifully. I'm just glad that the team got their first win. There seems to be chemistry building and I'm happy about that."

CAJ had two goals from Eugene, as well as one each from Hikaru, Enosh and Joshua. Lukas, Enosh and Stephen each had one assist.

The Knights now have a season record of 1-0-1. Their next game will be at home on Saturday morning at 9 a.m. against St. Maur.
