HS girls' tennis defeats Zama 4-1

The high school girls' tennis team won 4-1 at Zama on Tuesday. The Knights' season record is now 2-1.

"It was an interesting day. A few players were struggling to play their tennis," coach Naoko Sawada said. "But we had one player playing doubles for the first time, and her pairing went to a tiebreaker and won! All of the players are eager to learn more."

These are the full scores from Tuesday:

1st Singles- Kiara loses 4-8
2nd Singles- Jenny wins 8-1
3rd Singles- Sophie wins by forfeit
1st Doubles- JaeEun and Miyuki win 8-5
2nd Doubles- Megumi and Tina win 8-7 via tiebreaker

Both of CAJ's tennis teams will play at YIS on Friday.
