MS boys' cross country loses to KIST and St. Mary's

CAJ's middle school cross country runners competed on the upper 3.3-kilometer course this week for the third time this season. The middle school boys lost 26-30 against KIST and 18-41 against St. Marys, and the girls again did not score due to not having enough runners. The boys' record is now 4-3 this season.

GyungWon placed 14th out of 117 middle school boy runners, finishing in a time of 13:55.3. YJ (15:20.4, 34th), Kosuke (15:41.7, 41st) Kade (17:14.6, 74th) and SeWon (21:34.6, 114th) rounded out the Knights' top five. On the girls' side, Kalista was 43rd out of 107 runners with a time of 17:34.8, and Anna was 103rd with a time of 23:10.9.

"While their times don't show it, everyone worked really hard," head coach Nate Rudd said. "It was just a tough day. Generally speaking, across all schools, there weren't many personal records today ."

Full results from the meet are available

The Knights will compete next Saturday at Tama Hills.
