Varsity volleyball wins once and loses once on Day 2 of Far East Tournament

The varsity volleyball team won one game and lost one game on the second day of pool play on Friday at its Far East Tournament at Camp Humphreys in South Korea. The Knights lost to Edgren 2-0 (22-25, 23-25) and then beat MC Perry 2-1 (25-22, 22-25, 25-20) to finish pool play with a 3-1 record.

Coach Steve Hall said both sets against Edgren went well, despite the loss.

"We are pretty evenly matched [with Edgren]. In two previous matches this season we were 1-1 against them."

Against MC Perry, Hall said the team "didn't play particularly well, but we managed to make enough plays to win."

The Knights overall season record is now 9-16. They will begin and end bracket play on Saturday, the final day of the tournament.
